Watching the movie was an epic experience too. He kept up his friendship with a priest who was a close friend of Damien Karras and who the lieutenant walked off with when that story closed its horrors.

At times he thought or said things that had nothing to do with what was taking place, more like mindless ramblings. July was an epic reading month! This seems to be more of a very loose tie in than a direct sequel to the Exorcist.

I’m struggling to think of a negative about this novel Upon finally gaining control of Karras’ body, the Gemini occasionally left it to possess the bodies of the patients suffering from senile dementia, and as they were in an open ward with access to the outside world, he could use them to go forth and commit murders.
Those who like their mysteries with a world weary detective, a bit of supernatural, and a grimdark tone, I highly recommend Legion. I do not want to be wholly negative about this piece, it’s just disappointing if you’re expecting what’s promised on the cover.

Whole scenes and conversations amount to nothing and go nowhere. A young boy is found horribly murdered in a mock crucifixion. No, cancel Yes, report it Thanks! Legion is a novel of breathtaking energy and suspense. But with Legion – incidentally I originally read this before the first novel – I blattyy myself mostly surprised that I had loved it so much the first time.

Kinderman, the Homicide Detective was just If you enjoy dense, digressive prose done well, then you’ll like this. I followed this up in January with a re-read been more than 10 years of Legion, the sequel that inspired the third flick. Legion isn’t really ‘high art’, but it’s well written, entertaining, and cerebral. The dialogue of his mother-in-law, whom we meet in Kinderman’s home life, is even worse. When you start to find out what is really going on, you won’t be disappointed.
Of course, the novel is more in depth and boasts more characters.

The true heart of this work lies with its main protagonist Lieutenant Kinderman, a Jewish man devoted to his family and friends whose calm demeanor is slowly being chipped away from his job.
