Sometimes the ironic way is exactly the right way to call attention to an important topic. Owen is a sweet kid who is just trying to make his way through life but thinks he has nobody to turn to.
An exceptional first novel. I cant think of anything else that is bad. Not so far out of my comfort zone. One of these items ships sooner than the other.
It’s raw, real, and disturbing, in a good way. There was a lot of action, but for what? So I found this thing online about trying borrsi read books out of your interest zone. He made the choice to not be like his father, bkrris the end, and I found myself warming up to him as the book progressed. Suicide is a very drastic and burdening act to be confronted with in a YA novel. The plot meandered along at a really boring pace and it was all so redundant – they go a place, talk about suicide, Frank gets drunk, they go another place, rinse and repeat.
I didn’t know what to expect when I started Crashing into Me. I think the age group that suits this book best is years old. In the end they realized that they are not alone and always had each other. I identified with Owen the most, as far as personality. I did like the finally message of the plot, though, and how it was handled.
Along with suicide, some of the topics explored are meant for a more mature audience, such drugs and dysfunctional families. Owen, Frank, Audrey, and Jin-Ae have one thing in common: There are four characters, although Owen is the main character I would say.

They just realize that they were being silly. I must admit, I really enjoyed this book and was really quite satisfied with the ending. I truly appreciate each and every comment, and I’d love to chat! While I wasn’t pining for the romance or feeling all that sympathetic boris Owen, even I was scared when it seemed albegt something had happened to any one of the four teens.
Albert is a national award winning student assistance counselor. She lied because she wanted to hang out with Frank, Jin-Ea, and Owen. Additionally, I found the plot meandering and lacking focus. At the beginning of the book, his tone is numb and immensely sad. When they meet online after each attempts suicide and fails, the four teens make a deadly pact: Would you like to tell us about a lower price?

But in that attempt, it also showcases how truly central he is to the characters and their journey. The writing is sparse, but I didn’t mind. They fight, they fall in love, they discover themselves, and they become closer to each other than their own families. I give this book a three out of five stars because at some points in the book it did get a little slow, and I just did not find that I was in any rush to finish it.
